#WPI #Mark Baker participated in an Unconstrained Vision Workshop for the Town of Hilton Head Mayor's Task Force.

The Town of Hilton Head's Mayor's Task Force was formed to establish a vision for the island over the next twenty years. As a result, the Task Force members invited a diverse group of individuals that particpated in an Unconstrained Vision Workshop. The panel of attendees were faced with questions pertaining to future trends in the world, how it will affect Hilton Head Island and what solutions would be needed. Grand Opening Ceremony for Hilton Head Island's The Children Center! #WPi provided the master plan, playground design and landscape design.

The Grand Opening and Ribbon Cutting Ceremony for The Children’s Center at Jarvis Creek Park, Hilton Head Island was held Saturday, June 26th, 2010. Wood+Partners provided master planning services as well as detailed playground and landscape design and permitting support. Located at Jarvis Creek Park, the site contains a $4.5 million, 19,000 square-foot childcare facility, as well as individual playgrounds for infants, 1-3 year olds, and 3-5 year olds; tricycle tracks; a water play area; outdoor art & dining areas; and parking and support facilities.
