Volunteering for UrbanPlan ULI!

It's always so rewarding when we as professionals are able to give back to our community! Recently, Charlie Johnson, ASLA, Senior Project Manager at WPi, volunteered to participate in Urban Land Institute's program called UrbanPlan. Charlie was tasked with working with local professionals in the industry to facilitate a class session and final presentation with a class at the Leon High School . The UrbanPlan program teaches high school students about the complexities of land development and the fundamental forces that affect development in the United States. Way to go Charlie! Proposed Golf Course Changes to Daufuskie Island's Bloody Point

Like many residential communities today, new amenity trends and user groups have changed the course of lifestyle activities that were once desired. The Lowcountry has some of the most well designed and maintained golf courses in the country, but the majority of today's user groups desire a variety of outdoor amenities, not just golf.
