JOB OPENING AT WOOD+PARTNERS INC. HHI
Mid-Level - Landscape Architect with 1-3 Years of Experience 

WPi is an award-winning, landscape architecture, planning, and urban design firm with offices in Hilton Head Island, SC and Tallahassee, FL. We are seeking a talented, design-oriented landscape architects to fill mid-level and project manager landscape architect positions in both our Hilton Head Island, SC and Tallahassee, FL offices. Wood+Partners Inc. was founded with the mission of Creating Great Places, having fun and maintaining an intellectually stimulating workplace.  Our practice is diverse and includes work in both public and private sectors throughout the Southeastern Unites States and the Caribbean.

Candidates are required to submit a resume and portfolio with graphic and Auto CAD skills, CD document experience, construction details. Mid-level candidates will have at a minimum 1-3 years’ experience in a landscape architecture firm(s). Project Manger candidates will have at a minimum 7-10 years' experience in a landscape architecture firm(s).

Requirements: A degree in Landscape Architecture, strong design and graphic skills, proficiency with Auto CAD, Adobe Creative Suite, Microsoft Office, demonstrated ability in site planning and design, construction documents and specifications, detailed design, project management/project coordination experience, strong communication skills, effective time management skills and attention to detail.

Competitive salary depending on experience.

Grand Opening of FAMU Village Celebration

The Florida A&M University (FAMU) 800 Bed Dormitory opened this past Thursday, in case you missed it! The new FAMU Village Dormitory will provide a new campus gateway with courtyard spaces that flow into the central plaza envisioned to become the "central hub"of campus activities. TOHH Sailing & Rowing Center to Open Soon!

Designed as an 8 acre neighborhood park off Squire Pope Road, the first phase of the project is anticipated to include a fixed pier for fishing, a floating dock, picnic facilities, storage for rowing shells and sailboats, swings, a fire pit, restrooms and parking. The pier will be handicapped-accessible and can be used for fishing and crabbing. WPi is currently working with Lee & Parker Architects, Ward Edwards and ATM on the oversight of construction.
