It's An Official Feature...

It's official! FAMU WAY and Capital Cascades Trail has been published in Landscape Architecture and Specifier News!It's not everyday that you wake up to see a project published in LASN Magazine by your team. Needless to say it is a rewarding feeling being able to create a positive lasting effect in a City where your employees not only work, but call home! The success of  this project is a result of so many talented people! Congratulations to the entire team on a job well done! Thank you to the City of Tallahassee and Blueprint Intergovernmental Agency for the opportunity and LASN for the feature!

Grand Opening in the Gulf!

Luxury Resort meets the beautiful Emerald Coast on the Gulf of Mexico! Yesterday marked the official grand opening of The Henderson, a Salamander Beach & Spa Resort, featuring 170 luxury rooms and several amenities including an adult pool, a feature pool with zero-entry and lazy river, and a splash pad. The resort also features a unique outdoor and indoor event space and a Grand Lawn with pristine views of the gulf. Wood+Partners Inc provided master planning through construction administration services for the luxury resort hotel.

Youth Educational Outing Turns Into Park Planning!

Park planning can be developed by a variety of individuals and they don't necessarily have to be adult professionals. The Department of Environmental Protection along with the Trust for Public Land involved not only the Professionals throughout the planning process, but Fifth graders from Deer Point Elementary School. It only makes sense since the 97 acre Lynn Haven Bayou Park and Preserve will be right in their back yard (literally). The planning exercise allowed the children to provide input on the design of this very important public access to waterways no matter how big or small of an idea. The educational outing provided these children a unique way to give back to their community, while assisting with the planning process. Click Here for Full Story by WJHG/WECP

The Lynn Haven Bayou Park and Preserve will create unique public waterfront access and a network of paths to explore the natural community. Program Elements may include large gathering structures, an outdoor classroom, picnic pavilions, multiple restrooms, dock access for kayaks and fishing, motorized board dock on the Bay, a natural play area, fitness loop and disc golf course. Wood+Partners Inc. is providing master planning through construction documentation services for this park.
