Inside the Life of Bee's with WPi's own Beekeeper - David McAllister!

David McAllister is a project planner at WPi by day, but on his "free time" he is also a Busy Beekeeper to over 250,000 local bees on Hilton Head Island! Right now he has 6 hives with anywhere between 40,000 and 50,000 bees with 4 of his hives producing honey at this time. So far he has harvested 35lbs of honey and expects much more later on in the year! And yes, you are probably wondering how long he has been doing this....Only his 1st year! Pretty impressive!
